AI Awareness Day – 4th June 2026

UK Schools, charities and organisations are joining together to prepare for the launch of AI Awareness Day – an event designed to improve AI literacy across the educational landscape; from pupils to support staff to teachers to leaders. By getting schools to commit to running at least one activity, Mark Martin OBE hopes to gain momentum in bringing insight into how AI is taught and used in schools.

I was fortunate enough to catch the launch presentation at the BETT Show in January, and I have to say it was the thing that got me most excited and fired up.

I will be getting behind this fully and hopefully preparing some resources for primary schools to use for free, released on the launch day.
