Basic: If you are new to Scratch, please take a look at this free course;

Monday 13th March, 3:45 – 5pm Introduction to Scratch – Remote – Short Course

Join this workshop to gain subject knowledge around teaching programming using Scratch; get to know the Scratch environment and all the latest hints and tips. Participants need access to Scratch – https://scratch.mit.edu/

Advanced: If you’re at the other end of the scale and are ready to push the boundaries and learn some more advanced techniques to challenge your higher ability pupils, then please book onto this free course:

Thursday 30th March, 3:45 – 5pm Advanced Scratch Programming – Remote – Short Course

Building on the Introduction to Scratch, this session will cover more advanced ways to use Scratch in the classroom and will aim to develop a deeper understanding of more advanced Scratch functions. This would be more suitable for those teaching in upper KS2 with children who are competent using Scratch.
